Trip Computer |

In some W126 Coupes and Sedans, a very rare trip computer option was offered. Shown below, the computer display showed fuel consumption, mileage, time from origin to destination, average speed, top speed, etc.
Shown above, the display unit replaced the standard position of the tach unit and clock. Therefore, the speedometer had a digital clock display just underneath the trip odometer.

To compensate for the tachometer, the far left combination gauge was modified to include a tachometer where the standard fuel gauge used to reside; while the fuel gauge replaced the location of the economy gauge.
