1965 220 SEb
White with red leather interior (see the feature car in "The Star" January / February 1991 for model info). 3-speed automatic transmission and column-mounted shifter. Odometer shows 30,000 miles (I assume it is 130,000, since it had only 15,000 miles when I purchased it ~seven years ago). Upon purchase, I had the car restored at a small shop in Magog, Quebec at a cost of $16,000. At the same time, head rests, and seatbelts were installed (they were required). Since I have owned it, the car has always been garaged and stored from November to April. The car looks spectacular and runs great! Own a trend setting classic described by Bruno Sacco, DBAG's director of design, as "...one of the most beautiful Mercedes ever designed, but not only that, it is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed anywhere". Asking $22,500 Canadian (US$15,000). Car is located in Montreal, Canada (fly up for the Grand Prix this June and drive back in style).
